Miro won't run - bug problem ??
After installing Miro 2.5. (I have Windows XP) i try to open it and receive this message:
An unknown error prevented Miro from startup. Please file a bug report at http://www.getmiro.com/bug.html.
Any ideas folks??

I solved by deleting all Participatory Culture folders, but this inherently deleted the metadatabase, so when I reinstalled, all my previously downloaded videos are no longer in the beautiful feedlist for which I admired Miro. Now it is back to ugly file folder browsing and guessing what is inside each cryptic named podcast file.

please help, i have no idea what to do, i just cannot open miro at all. i have version2.5.2
i just tried to install the new version 2.5.3 and it doesnt allow me to download as it times out...hellllppp please, i dont want to lose all my playlists !!!

Inappropriate?sara - you commented in the bug, and you have sent me your log files and databases. I'm going look at your database. In the meantime if you delete it, miro will run, but you'll lose all your feeds and metadata.
