My Computer Freezes When I Try To Run Miro

I downloaded and installed Miro on my computer but everytime I try to run Miro my whole computer freezes and I have to restart it.

I've heard this happen to users who use Windows and have anti virus software that's flakey.

Are you using Windows? What kind of anti-virus software are you using?

When the computer freezes, does it completely freeze or does a blue screen pop up with random gibberish on it?

Im using AVG free on windows. The computer completely freezes, no blue screen at all.
