Odd memory error, Miro wont work! Help!

Everything seemed to go smoothly, until I tried to watch a video and I get this error, every time, with every video:

Miro.exe- Application Error

The instruction at 0x0d105429 referenced memory at 0xffffffff. The memory could not be read.

Click on OK to terminate the program

Anybody know what's wrong? I can add this: windows firewall asked me if I wanted to keep blocking some of my ports or something when I ran Miro the first time. I said yes. I don't know how to unblock it to see if that fixes is. But it appears that I have successfully download several videos, so I don't think that's the problem.
