The Heads Up display UI Design
Why is are the heads up display elements so large (the ui elements that are displayed over the video your watching in full screen mode)? Surely they should be more discreet and less intrusive.

Inappropriate?Hi, we've gotten this feedback from other folks too — we'll be making some adjustments for Miro 2.1

Cool! Might I also suggest that you have a preference to customise how many interface elements appear in the HUD. -
Inappropriate?Or an option to have no HUD at all...
I hate having my video covered everytime i start a podcast.
I’m anxious

Inappropriate? The huge HUD is the reason why I switched back to the old 1.2 version of Miro. Please make the HUD optional and much much smaller. Also, please don't show any HUD if the player isn't in full screen mode. Right now, in the 2.0.4 Mac OS X version, the HUD is shown everytime the mouse enters the screen (not only in full screen mode), which seems to be a bug. This is really disturbing. Thanks for any improvements.

Inappropriate? The HUD will be smaller in the next release (as in video title shown only in fullscreen).
Also, ideally HUD should be shown in detached windows, in addition to fullscreen mode only. Someone should file a feature request to not show the HUD automatically upon starting playback, as it's pointless. In my opinion this should be implemented as the default behaviour, so not some additional settings which would lead to feature creep.
