Viewing videos already on my hard drive
How do I see the list of videos on my hard drive that miro searched for during install?
I didn't see this in the help documentation and I don't see it as an option on the side bar.
Thanks.

Inappropriate? On my computer Miro has a 'Local Videos' channel by default. The URL of this feed is 'dtv:directoryfeed:<directory>', where <directory> is the directory that Miro should check for videos. Not sure if it works, but you might try adding a channel with this URL.</directory></directory>

Floris, Thanks for this. I didn't initially understand the syntax until I implemented JED's suggestion below. When I right click on the local folder and choose "copy URL to clipboard" then paste it into notepad I can see what you mean. I can also see some html/URL (????) syntax that will come in useful for the future. Thanks for the quick reply. -
Inappropriate? We have a known bug in this release where the videos searched for on startup aren't displayed in the Library as they should be. As a workaround - you can open the preferences menu and under the Folders tab - point to a directory for Miro to watch for content. This can be displayed as a channel in the side bar. Currently the search goes through the specified directory plus 1 level deeper.

JED, thanks for this it got me sorted out for the directories that I have videos in. I look forward to future releases where I can have the whole drive searched as I'm sure there are other videos lurking on my disk. While I know that I can search for these now, the facility to have Miro find and catalogue them automatically will be welcome.
Thanks for the timely reply.
