what i need to configure to enable proxy in miro? (using ubuntu)

hi everyone. i'm using miro in ubuntu jaunty. it's awesome, but when i had a problem to connect when i'm in college which is using proxy. I trying to search the solution in internet but i still got no clue. Trying to tweak some file like in

/usr/share/python-support/miro/miro/plat/config.py
/usr/share/python-support/miro/miro/plat/options.py
/usr/share/python-support/miro/miro/prefs.py

but i confused what parameter need to be changed.
any help will be appreciated. thanks.
