bank statement does not provide 4-digit Paypal code
I have had a verified premier account for a long time. Yesterday I upgraded it to a Business account. My account now has limitations because I need to "link and confirm your debit card." My debit card was already linked with my premier account. However, my main problem is this: neither my online banking statement nor my paper statement shows a 4-digit number. There is no way I can submit this unknown 4-digit Paypal code. Worse, I've tried submitting the first and last 4 digits from the string of 15 numbers associated with this transaction and now have been informed I have 1 more attempt before I will no longer be able to use this card. How can I submit a 4-digit code that my bank statement does not provide? (and does this mean I can't use my paypal account until this is resolved?)

Inappropriate?Hi indoorgirl39-
Please don't attempt to enter any more digits, as the number you should be entering will appear on a line on your card statement with a $1.95 charge to the card from PayPal. That charge is refunded to you after confirmation of the digits.
That charge can take a couple of days to post. If you do not see a 4 digit code on a line with a $1.95 charge by tomorrow after 4 pm ET, please reply back here or use the Contact Us link at the bottom of your PayPal homepage to speak to someone who can assist further after confirming your identity.
Thanks,
PayPal Jason -
Inappropriate?Jason,
Thank you so much for your very quick response. It is much appreciated. I think I just freaked out a little bit because nowhere on either my online banking or my paper bank statement shows any 4-digit numbers. So I was assuming that when the transaction went through, it also would not be prefaced with a 4-digit number. Note to me: don't assume, don't panic. Sorry for the trouble...the 4-digit number was there today clear as could be. Thanks again for your help.
I’m thankful

Inappropriate?I have this same problem, after waiting almost a month for the 2 small amounts to show in my bank account, and many phone calls, I feel hopeless. I wish Jason would help me, as I've waited too long.
