I'm having trouble with different versions of the same file; after changing a file and uploading it again, I keep seeing the same file. I even ran this experiment. I upload the revised file and let pbwiki rename it with a -1 appended to the name. I then looked at each file from the list and they were different as they should be. I then deleted the original one and renamed the new one to the old name. Now when I looked at the new file renamed using the original filename, I was again looking at the old file. There must be some buffering going on. This has happened before. The only way to get around it seems to be to let it append the -1 on the file name and then change the link to look at this revised filename. Anything else doesn't work. (incidentally, I knew the old file from the new because the old file had some colored text and the new one has all black text). Any thoughts?
Since I upgraded to the business premium, every time I click between pages I get a pop up that states, "This page contains both secure and unsecure items. Do you wish to display the unsecure items?" This gets really unbearable because I have to click yes or no every time I go to a new page. Help?! This is really annoying. Thanks
The 2008.06.06 invitation to a webinar sounds like it might be interesting, but upon going to the registration page, it looks to me that it asks for too much information -- and there's no privacy statement. Sionce it involves a mortage industry person, I am suspicious that my information would be misused to generat spam email or phone calls.
It damages your reputation to permit such misuse.
Recommendations:
1. implement a privacy policy and enforce it.
2. avoid collecting privacy threatening information
Is there any way to create a category or label for each new page that I create so that users can click on a selected category and see a list of all pages relevant to that topic?
I would like for people to be able to make comments on my PBWiki 2.0. When I was using 1.0, there was a tab for comments. For 2.0, I don't see a comment tab. It is a public wiki and I'd like for people to be able to go to the site without a password and make comments but not change the wiki itself. Is this possible?
Thanks,
Becky

I'm brand new to PB Wiki and wonder what options the service might have for churches. I've been reading the white papers for educators and think that many of the same concerns would apply to churches (youth group safety, no ads, pricing, etc.)
I see alot of potential here - project tracker for ministry groups, chat and photos for youth group, etc. But I'm wondering what kind of account we'd need to have and if anyone else is using PB Wiki in the manner that I can look at for inspiration?
If PB Wiki needs a group to pilot this with - I'd love to volunteer! I just need some guidance about the possibilities available to us.
I have two problems: the calendar plugin won't load. It says something about not having 30 boxes... And I've created a slide show but once I paste the URL code and select 'Finish', nothing happens--the window doesn't disappear. Help!
After getting vague responses and nothing more I have decided to post one more question of sorts. My first question is simply for confirmation. 1) To login to a wiki now you must first create a mypbwiki account and then be invited to that wiki from the moderator? 2) If this new feature was going to be implemented and our invite keys stripped away why didn't I know this? Maybe I am the only wiki administrator that didn't but I don't think I am alone. I did know that login for the new pbwiki 2.0 would be different but I didn't know that the login would change for the pbwiki 1.0 we are currently using. I believe this is the first time that anything has really gotten under my skin but why weren't we just informed better. And when I did find that the wiki login had changed I had been digging for like 2 days to find this info. One last question. Do I need to inform my boss that the "invite keys" are no longer valid for our wiki or will they be back sometime soon. If they are not going to be back I really need to know because that means I have to send out a department wide e-mail, inform everyone that logins have changed and then write a tutorial on how the new login works. It isn't that I mind doing these things its my job I just need an answer please.
I would like to have at least some elements in Dutch, as we consider to set up a portfolio on pbWiki for our (500) students. As there any chance we can help or do something? Or just wait and see?
