I can't access PBwiki. I'm currently taking a course which involves constructing a wiki together. Although I had access up through 11:30 eastern time, July 11, I have not been able to get in since. In either Firefox or Explorer, I get a "connection has timed out" message while trying to access any site with pbwiki.com in the URL. Help?
Why don't dates and times show in the format selected in settings? I selected an international format in Time and Date settings, but it still displays in American format on the listing of revised pages.
Editing of v2 wikis doesn't work AT ALL on the iPhone.
Given the number of people in line buying these things this weekend, perhaps a cheap-and-cheerful editing option needs to be rolled into production quickly?
I don't need to be able to embed Google Gadgets or whatever from the iPhone, but I need to be able to add and edit text!!!
I have not been able to include any google gadgets recently. After pasting the code I press "review" but nothing happens.
I tried several different gadgets but no result.
I had installed some of these last year with no problem.
How can I edit an existing template in a wiki? We created a wiki template for ourselves in the past but now we would like to change that template so that pages we create with it will include more information than the current one. For example, our wiki template currently includes a space to enter information about Spring 2008, but we need to add Fall 2008 to the template and eventually Spring 2009..etc. Please help!
logging in used to be difficult, now its worse. I can't log in to my account. I've reset my password, but when I log in it takes me right back to the same log in page.
Why does this need to be so difficult. All my users complained about the log in process before the recent change. Now it is even worse.
And by the way, if users need to log in before contacting support, how do you help them if they have log-in problems?
I am trying to upload a file and either (1) the upload just hangs, apparently working, but 4 hours later, nothing has changed or (2) I get the messages "Sending request to blancmange PBwiki", "Tranfering ...", then no message, no file in the listing of files, and no reduction in storage space. It's a 70 MB file, called "farina-latest.tgz". I uploaded some little image files with no problem in a free PBwiki, then I paid $100 for the year, intending to use this wiki to collaborate with colleagues in various locations. The wiki part is working well, but I have to be able to exchange files, too. I haven't even tried to upload the 430 MB data file!
This doesn't sound like a case of questionable content--unless you're unzipping and untarring and scanning all the Java source code in this file, and finding something random in an object or method name.
The pbwiki site and my own wikis seem to be down at the moment - is this an unscheduled outage?
I am based in the UK where my team use our wiki all work day so I would appreciatte notice if this is a scheduled outage (I realize the time difference may make this a possibility) and/or some sort of notice to indicate when there is an unscheduled problem (which I suspect this is - the main pbwiki page is down which I assume would not be the case for maintenance work).
When using 2.0, a private event added to the calendar is shown when other users view the calendar. I want students to add their own events, but have the option to make them private.
