Recently active questions in PBwiki about PBwiki 2.0

Dear all,
we are getting in trouble with editing links. In particular, we need to embed in pages links from http://www.ilsole24ore.com, but the wiki seems to be unable to maintain the correct link. When we try to plug the link into a page, the hyperlink changes and redirects to a "page not-found" link. For example, this is the original link: http://www.ilsole24ore.com/art/SoleOn...
And this is the link in the pbwiki page:

Why does PBwiki change the original link?

I am able to upload pictures to my wiki but whenever I try to upload a logo it keeps giving me, "Sorry, couldn't process your logo file. " I've tried multiple picture formats and sizes. What could be causing this error? - Thanks

I am looking for a basic How-To document on this site. There should be a link on the page when you click 'help' that directs users to various how-to topics.

How can I add security to files? I don't want all files available to all users.

from google, my page does not pop up. how can i make my page appear in a search for it through google using the tags i designated on the page?

I'm a newbee and I'm creating a business wiki. I'd like to have it so when my readers look at my wiki (and can't edit it), they shouldn't see the side buttons (Create A Page . . . etc.) Is there a way I can remove these?

Want to apply a font style with a single keystroke BLUE-UNDERLINE-BOLD or HIGHLIGHTED - is there a way to do this.

It seems too many mouse clicks are required for adding styles or formatting to text. Is there a way to add a sort of dynamic style shortcut key or any other programs that work with PBWiki that can format text I've selected in text or text in tables?

i figure if I post here & submit a ticket, I'll have better luck, as I need an answer fast.

I upgraded to v2.0 tonite and am immediately regretting it. Here's what happened:

I upgraded. I then added the email addresses of the previous users. In v1.0, we all used an Invite Key, or whatever they were called, and folks didn't have individual passwords. This was incredibly nice, and I miss it already.

When I added the user email addresses, it included my secondary email address (my test account). At my secondary email account, I received an invite to join. Odd, since I was already a member during v1.0.

I followed the link, where it asked for my password. I entered the Invite Key from 1.0. No dice. I tried everything I could think of - but I was unable to log into the wiki even though I was a member with that email address in v1.0.

I don't have the most technically apt users. It took forever to get them comfortable with the wiki. If they can't log in come morning, they'll run away from the wiki again.

Please help!

How do I change a user password in the WIKI

I retitled and retooled a previous wiki. The problem is that the domain (I thnk) didn't change with the name change. So now when I add people they get and invite email from the old wiki... and it doesn't fit the content.

THE QUESTION, is it possible to:

Rename the domain to match the content
or
copy the site (pages) and paste it into a new wiki with the right domain?

I'd like to make the most recent comments appear at the top of the comment section. Is there any way to do this?

We're just starting a new wiki (t's private now, but will be public once we get it set up just right). It's a premium, educational wiki. We're planning on making it public and publicizing it in early August, plus it will be part of a university class project. I haven't done any design changes and only have about 15 pages (mostly for testing purposes) in the wiki so far (so I haven't done much yet). Should I convert to 2.0 now or continue developing in 1.0 and convert later? If I develop in 1.0, can I still use all those groovy widgets I've been reading about? Will I lose them when I convert to 2.0 later?

Also, I don't want to convert it in the middle of a semester (unless there's some kind of security/serious problem).

How do I change file permissions so that only a limited number of users can access an uploaded file

How do I let anyone with a pbwiki account edit my 2.0 pbwiki? I'd rather not invite EVERYONE one email at a time. Or even just let anyone edit. ANYHING that will avoid inviting new users. That will probably make me leave pbwiki (and I even pay for it!)

Is there a way to increase the character limit on comments up from 2000 ? In our wiki, we frequently find that comments exceed that ... And end up putting in 2 or more comments to get down everything that we want to say !

How do I add fonts to the dropdown list?

Is it possible to see traffic and statistics for specific users? I am able to see stats on the number of unique users but am hoping to see each of the stats broken by the users login name.

How do we add navigation/links for every page we add to the wiki--in addition to formally having to create links in the SideBar?

I've converted my personal wiki to 2.0; can I convert my educator's wiki now as well? If so, how?
