Educators - weigh in on login systems! Last reply on May 09, 2008 13:01.
Educators, we've heard you loud and clear. Our e-mail based 2.0 login system will not work for students with no e-mail addresses.
Let's use this space for a productive discussion on what YOU think will work for your students. Do you want to see invite keys, user names, or something entirely different? Post it here! All of our PBwiki staff members are viewing this site, and it's a great way to get your voice heard.
We're asking for YOUR thoughts. Think about the privacy and security requirements in your school districts, the amount of work you're willing to put into getting your students registered on the wiki, and the age/ability of your students. -

Old School versus the New Last reply on April 27, 2008 23:00.
Any benefits to 1.0 compared to 2.0?
Collegues of mine that don't work much with computers may find the simplicity of 1.0 easier to handle. Is 1.0 easy to customize than 2.0? I want to have a killer side bar and a artistic front page and that is it. I have no need for complex sidebar action in 2.0 (folder, tags, security, detailed recent activity etc.). But I may want to upgrade to 2.0 later when we have more members.

1.0 http://ncrcandd.pbwiki.com/
Right now I like 1.0.
Any stylistic assistance? -

Unlimited image uploads Last reply on March 22, 2008 03:45.
I often find it quite tiring to switch to and fro PBWiki and my image hoster, since I often make use of images to explain things better and to break up monotony of text.
It would be nice if PBWiki could emulate competitor WetPaint in how they allow users to upload unlimited images, thus encouraging a very graphical presentation of ideas and concepts.
Or at least, when the user is nearing full capacity, have a reviewer look through his images and then expand his free space capacity, to ensure he isn't spamming.
Oh, and it would be nice to be able to easily post images from an external host in the WYSIWYG mode. Currently one has to go to the source view specially just to paste the image link codes. o_0 -

Plug-In Spreadsheet Bigger Last reply on March 17, 2008 19:57.
How do you make the plug-in spreadsheet bigger. I don't want to have to keep scrolling up and down and left and right in the spreadsheet?
