PbWiki bogged down a LOT as my 20+ fifth graders worked on their pages in the computer lab yesterday. Last reply on February 05, 2008 14:28.
At the end of the 40-minute session simple events began to hang or take three minutes. I don't know of any Dept of Education (DOE) network event. I gave up trying to invoke the linking tool from the point-and-click editor. It never appeared.
I also need to know how to avoid the error, "So-and-so" is editing the _____page, ... do you want to teal lock from this user?" (or words to that effect)
The page on which all the students first names appear will be in editing state a lot during a lab session.
I have between 21 and 24 kids on the site during these lab times. Is this your servers or the DOE piping?

Templates with Cyrillic letters in names don't work
Templates with Cyrillic letters in names don't work. You create a page with Cyrillic name, fill it, then tag it with template. After that you create a new page, choose this template, but... but a new page is not created and you are still back to the template selection page! -

Embedding spreadsheets Last reply on January 25, 2008 23:32.
The PBwiki Spreadsheet plug-in is nice, but Google Spreadsheets are better.
It'd be nice to be able to insert, edit, and maintain <iframe> tags within the point-and-click editor. Right now, they're invisible. I have to use Source or (blast from the past!) the Classic editor to manipulate the iframe. </iframe>

Usually get "Page not found" error in IE after updates
Nearly every time I make an update to a PB Wiki page in IE, I get a "page not found" error in IE 6.0. When I refresh the page the changes appear. This will be a problem for staff, who already have fear of editing the wiki, and will not know what to do when this error appears. -

Urgent - help required - uploaded picture, pbwiki wiped out all verbiage on page Last reply on May 15, 2008 07:59.
extremely urgent - uploaded a picture, wiped out all verbiage on page - emergency. Is there a way to get an archived page? I don't have a copy of the page, and it appears to be gone (after simply uploading a picture, which has always worked in the past) -

editing not saving Last reply on May 15, 2008 06:10.
I am trying to edit pages in my wiki, but they will not save. Others have tried to login with the wiki invte key an dexperience the same problem. I can edit, but then nothing seems to save. In my email notification on these "changes" it says "Only formatting differences exist between the two versions." The wiki was working just fine as of a few days ago. I am using IE7.
