Hi ! I am the administrator of a 2.0 beta pwiki dedicated to history searchers working on a specific project (wich is going to last 5 years). This PB wiki is private because informations are confidential.
My problem is that those searchers are not all computer-friendly : the access to the new information published on the wiki has to be easy. RSS can be useful for that but will the wiki stay private ? In other words, is it possible for me to create RSS for the entire wiki but only for the members?
(Another question: I know that this function is not available right now on pbwiki 2.0 beta : is it going to be available?)
Thanks a lot !
I created a folder in our private wiki, and tried to set that folder to "publicly-viewable." When I submitted the form, I got a raw-looking error "Access Denied."
Steps I took (again, a private wiki):
1. Created a folder "KB"
2. Created a page in the folder.
3. Clicked on the folder from the right column list of folders.
4. Clicked security.
5. Left the radio to first option, but checked the box "Make this folder public."
6. Clicked Save.
Response:
Access Denied (no markup at all, just the response with a 200 HTTP status header)
Hi, we'd really really like to use folders. (We thought it was already part of the business upgrade, but alas, it's not). What's the ETA on this feature?
Also, we'd like to participate in the beta testing, if it's still relevant.
