I created a private wiki this weekend, and emailed invites to a dozen coworkers.
none of them can get into the wiki, and now that I logged out I cannot log back in either!
I filled out the Contact Wiki Owner form and sent a resuest, and the request reached me, so I am clearly the Owner of the wiki. Feeling dumb tho. Please help!
The old login screen used to save the user name, email address, and "notify me" setting between logins. The new login screen only saves the email address, so I have to retype my user name and uncheck the "notify me" box. I preferred the old system.
How do you get comments associated with one page to migrate with the page when you rename it? Right now, they are lost "but not forgotten" which is to say, if you create a new page with the old name, all the comments reappear.
It appears a hyphen is not allowed in the domain for the access-by-email feature. If I enter @myexample.com it works. If I enter @my-example.com, I get this error:
Sorry '@my-example.com' doesn't look like a usable value for access-by-email.
The problem is, our most-used company domain has a hyphen in it.
Sometimes, in firefox 2.0.0.6 on Windows XP, after mousing over all the links in the top of the page (Home/Edit Page/New Page/Comments/Files) a few times, the "edit page" link then becomes unclickable. Please make the edit page degrade gracefully or something, so that it's always able to be clicked, sometimes the javascript is making it unclickable, which is annoying and will confuse the other people who are just starting to use my wiki.
This occurs in the Hyperreal skin and the Bamboo skin, and I've also seen it happen once so far in the default "snakeskin" skin. It may be related to a lot of javascript activity prior to the mouseover failing, though I couldn't say.
I've been creating pages and assigning them to folders over the past week and everything is peachy. But tonight the assign-to-folder function isn't working.
When I click to assign the page into a folder, it loads a blank page called /folder.php. But then nothing. The page never is assigned to the folder. This was working before. Why not now?
Is there a limit to the number of pages in a folder? This started at 47...
...edit...
OK, some new information. I've done more pages, and new pages are going into the folders correctly. However 7 pages are not. Can't figure out why. The folder they are going into has 50 pages in it now. Here are the seven pages, URLS, which will not folder correctly:
I'm running Firefox 3 RC2 (Mac) and the search box (pbwiki 2) doesn't work correctly. Every character typed appears twice. This behavior doesn't happen in Safari or Firefox 2 (Windows).
