I am trying to help one of our users edit a wiki on our site. They are able to log-in after they click on 'edit page' but then it goes to a screen with a script. They tried changing their setting to the point and click browser, but now when they click on the edit page button, they get a blank edit page... nothing on it except cancel and Save buttons that give an error message when selected. Pls. help!!!
cannot get new page created. Box opens, accepts text but the page is not created. is there a limit on the number of links from a page? Created first group with no problem. the wanted to add in a different session and nothing
I cannot get the "save" button on my wiki page to work when I try to edit it. I hit edit, then I add words the to page, then I hit save, and nothing happens.
When I want to create a link I cannot find any Insert Link Button in any Edit Bar in my Editing page! It looks like I got a different version of pbWiki then the one from a colleague.
Thank your for your help.
I've uploaded images for my wiki. After uploading, pbwiki offers an option to rename images, which I have done. However, when editing a wiki page in classic mode, the renamed images now appear as broken image links in the "Hints" section.
Is there any way to refresh the hints section so it shows the newly-named images?
I want to make certain (external) links open in a new browser window or tab. To do so, I switch from my usually-preferred WYSIWYG editor to the "classic" wiki-markup editor and code the links using a target="_blank" ... -- works fine. I go back to working on the page with WYSIWYG editor. But when I change editor to "classic" again, perhaps to add another external link, my original HTML markup gets lost -- perhaps because the WYSIWYG-to-classic translator doesn't differentiate between WYSIWYG-created links and those marked up differently/manually. This makes the effort of adding HTML markup futile & frustrating. Can this be fixed?
I've been having trouble adding images to my pbwiki pages and aligning them to left or right.
It's often worked before - but at the moment, when I add images and align them left or right, they don't seem to show up when Firefox or Opera are used to browse that page (IE works fine). If I remove the "align" bit of the "img" tag, the images show up - but not in the layout I want, obviously.
It's not a very complicated page (homepage of the wiki, at foleshillfields.pbwiki.com) - and the source code looks sensible and fine.
