I created a private wiki this weekend, and emailed invites to a dozen coworkers.
none of them can get into the wiki, and now that I logged out I cannot log back in either!
I filled out the Contact Wiki Owner form and sent a resuest, and the request reached me, so I am clearly the Owner of the wiki. Feeling dumb tho. Please help!
We want to make it so that our users can all access the wiki, but only after we have verified that they own the email address they put in and that it is one in our domain. This may be an option, but I can't find it in the current free wiki or the 2.0 beta wiki. We won't mind paying for a wiki to be hosted, but I can't find how this works before we do it.
It appears a hyphen is not allowed in the domain for the access-by-email feature. If I enter @myexample.com it works. If I enter @my-example.com, I get this error:
Sorry '@my-example.com' doesn't look like a usable value for access-by-email.
The problem is, our most-used company domain has a hyphen in it.
The old login screen used to save the user name, email address, and "notify me" setting between logins. The new login screen only saves the email address, so I have to retype my user name and uncheck the "notify me" box. I preferred the old system.
I receive three email notifications for every change. One is to a different email address, which I might understand, but two are to the same address.
I also can't get rid of them. I logged into my.pbwiki.com, and when I turn off notifications, I stop getting all three. When I turn notifications back on, I start getting all three again, not just the one email address that is associated with my identity.
