Instead of allowing my team to edit pages, I want to allow my folks to comment on a page...then have administrators get an email or RSS alert that there is a new comment.
Is there anyway to get notifications when comments are made??
My computer is a windows XP if that means anything. I recently downloaded the new windows live. i clicked forget me and fixed all the settings, it fixed them. BUT when turn on the computer and the multiple user accounts that you can log into are displayed it show my account with the number of emails in my inbox and my hotmail address. Please can someone help me rid this problem from my computer, it is really quiet annoying.
I'm trying to set up an educational account. When I get to the part where I'm told to wait for an email response, I never get it. I also check my spam holding area, and it isn't there either. I swear! I tried twice. My email address is fine.
we would like to do a short survey, which could be an online form - and either e-mail the form result or (preferably) save the responses in a database.
Click “Share this wiki” at the bottom of your wiki. You’ll be able to email large amounts of users
there is no "share this wiki" at the bottom of the page, the "share this wiki" on the side of the page only allows me to add one address at a time! I need to add multiple addresses at a time
Hello from University of Kentucky. We are going to run a web 2.0 session in which we help people set up PB wikis. Last time we did this, we had so many people setting them up we got blocked. Our domain is uky.edu or email.uky.edu. Can we get ahead of this? The time for the session is June 9-23. Help? -Patsy Carruthers pcarr3@uky.edu
I started a wiki about seven months ago but never got it set up. Now I have time to do that and I can't find the set up email. Is there anything I can do to get the wiki set up? Thanks!
Within pbwiki 2.0, is it possible to set up notifications on a page basis? For example, some users might only want to be notified when certain pages are changed, rather than when any page within the entire wiki is changed.
is there some way to email stuff to the wiki? I would really like it if I could send an e-mail to someone and then make sure that it gets recorded without having to set up any extra steps.
Version one offered delimited lists and a personalised email option under share this wiki command..why is it not possible to quickly include this in version 2.0
We no longer receive email notifications whenever a page is changed. I assume it's because (1) our wiki is private and (2) that feature is no longer supported for private wikis in the new version. This is not acceptable to my organization. Can anything be done? Am I missing a new setting?
Although I have my log in page set to send me an email notification when the wiki is updated, I have not been receiving notifications in the past week or so. Other users are reporting this same problem. As the wiki administrator, I have confirmed (using the Settings link to Notifications) that we are all signed up to get notifications. What has changed and how can we return to getting notifications?
I am a new participant and i wish to keep my students' emails addrresses private or hidden. Is there a way for my students to edit wiki pages so that I know who has worked, but so their email addrresses are hidden from view of everyone but me?
