No email notifications for private wikis? Last reply on April 02, 2008 19:13.
We no longer receive email notifications whenever a page is changed. I assume it's because (1) our wiki is private and (2) that feature is no longer supported for private wikis in the new version. This is not acceptable to my organization. Can anything be done? Am I missing a new setting? -

Email notifications seem to be broken Last reply on March 07, 2008 01:58.
Although I have my log in page set to send me an email notification when the wiki is updated, I have not been receiving notifications in the past week or so. Other users are reporting this same problem. As the wiki administrator, I have confirmed (using the Settings link to Notifications) that we are all signed up to get notifications. What has changed and how can we return to getting notifications? -

How can I open access to everyone with an email address from a certain domain as editors? Last reply on March 21, 2008 17:15.
We want to make it so that our users can all access the wiki, but only after we have verified that they own the email address they put in and that it is one in our domain. This may be an option, but I can't find it in the current free wiki or the 2.0 beta wiki. We won't mind paying for a wiki to be hosted, but I can't find how this works before we do it. -

Can you contribute to a Wiki via email? Last reply on March 09, 2008 23:27.
I'm not a customer yet. As I look at using this, I'm wondering if there's a way for members of my team to contribute to the Wiki via email? -

Keeping students' email accounts hidden: Last reply on March 08, 2008 00:34.
I am a new participant and i wish to keep my students' emails addrresses private or hidden. Is there a way for my students to edit wiki pages so that I know who has worked, but so their email addrresses are hidden from view of everyone but me? -

Access-by-email doesn't seem to work for our domain Last reply on February 06, 2008 18:13.
It appears a hyphen is not allowed in the domain for the access-by-email feature. If I enter @myexample.com it works. If I enter @my-example.com, I get this error:
Sorry '@my-example.com' doesn't look like a usable value for access-by-email.
The problem is, our most-used company domain has a hyphen in it. -

Login screen saves email address, but not name or notification preference Last reply on February 06, 2008 17:41.
The old login screen used to save the user name, email address, and "notify me" setting between logins. The new login screen only saves the email address, so I have to retype my user name and uncheck the "notify me" box. I preferred the old system. -

Security on shared workstation Last reply on February 06, 2008 03:39.
In my environment multiple people use the same workstations and when I have gone to introduce the wiki to them it automatically logs in to the last person I enabled. I guess it is with cookies but I don't want to disable cookies. Is there a way to require logging in every time pbwiki is opened??
Can the moderators delete the obvious SPAM from this forum or have an option as on yahoo messages where users can indicate threads to be deleted. Its not so much offensive in the content as bothersome in terms of wading through it.
Thanks -

It says I have the wrong email address when I click on Lost Password! Last reply on January 30, 2008 20:22.
I got an error message that says this:
[wrong@address.com] is not the email address of this wiki's administrator. At last resort email support@pbwiki.com if you're having trouble resetting your password.
Is there anything else I can try before I email the support people?

How do I find out which of my students logged on to the wiki? Last reply on January 24, 2008 18:53.
I am using the wiki as a forum where my students can meet to construct a group project. I would like to know though how I can see whether they logged on and how long they stayed. Is this possible? -

changing the page when people come to wiki to use pbwiki identity instead of the wikiwide password Last reply on January 24, 2008 17:46.
When people type in ruckuswireless.pbwiki.com they come to a Log In page which has an option to login via wikiwide password (which we have already disabled) then people have to click on the "PbWiki Identity" link to login with their username and password to access our corporate wiki.
Can i remove this confusion and extra step required and take them to https://my.pbwiki.com/?wiki=ruckuswir... when they type https://ruckuswireless.pbwiki.com
This will be so much useful to us. -

Why do I get three email notifications whenever I make a single change to my wiki? Last reply on January 18, 2008 15:36.
I receive three email notifications for every change. One is to a different email address, which I might understand, but two are to the same address.
I also can't get rid of them. I logged into my.pbwiki.com, and when I turn off notifications, I stop getting all three. When I turn notifications back on, I start getting all three again, not just the one email address that is associated with my identity. -
