I wish to write an equation eg. 273/(273 + T) how could I do this without manually uploading an image of the equation?

I am a high school math and physics teacher. I am working on developing an educational wiki for my department. The biggest hurdle we have is dealing with math equations. The equation editor plugin is a start but it could really use some work to make it user friendly for our students.
