We have some flowcharts that we want to be able to put up on our wiki using diagram designer but when I copy from the page it won't let me paste in wiki, so I then tried to upload the file which worked but it came out as a link. So I clicked an the link to see if that would bring it up but it didn't. Can someone please help as this is boggling me on how to make it work.
I've tried to upload Hot Potatoes files (.htm) but I keep getting the message "File uploads are temporarily offline: Your IP address has been temporarily suspended because PBwiki's automated spam filter flagged recent activity. We're sorry for any inconvenience."
How do I move files into folders? I uploaded a number of document files that now need to be sorted into folders I have created. How do I accomplish this?
one of my students used their own credit card to pay for premium service last night because we ran out of space. i need to find out how much we are over so i can delete files and then cancel the premium service. I know how to fins where the files are and how big each of them is, but my question is how much space do i get for free and how much i am i using now? Thank you.
Is there a trick to uploading files? I had a complaint that a user tried to load an updated document but the wiki would not show the changes? He said he had to change the name of the file to get the new version to load. I can think of all sorts of reasons we don't want to do this such as having to create a new link and naming convention problems.
I copied the source code for document management template from quickstart1/pbwiki. When adding a file, it does not show up on the table. Also, if I upload files - will ALL the file be in the table, or how can I choose which to manage on the document management page?
I have been trying to add images to my wiki (which, unfortunately, is just a school assignment), but it is not working. No matter what I do it won't work. I have read all of the help topics, and the instructions do not seem applicable to the options that I have on my editing screen. I have been working on this for 2 hours, and I am about to start crying because nothing is working. The 2 images that I want to add are in my "Files" but I can't seem to do anything with them.
The main reason for my wiki is to have others working on the same topic able to edit and add to documents that I have uploaded. The problem is that when they have made their changes, the revised file is not what is on the wiki - that file remains unchanged.
It seems the only answer is to have folks make their changes and then upload the file again. This clogs thing up and would be confusing if the changes are not tracked somehow.
I have about a 50 page public wiki that covers 2 topics. I would like to start a new wiki, move about half the pages into it, and make it a private wiki. Is there an easy way to copy pages from one wiki into another?
I have the "hideable" pages option added to a silver level wiki. When attaching a file on a "hidden" page the file can still be viewed by any user on the "files" page.
Everytime I choose the file, a pdf, to link everything on my page is deleted and i have to cancel ... Am I doing soemthing wrong -- I've looked through help and tried several different ways ...
Can you copy and paste word documents containing images directly in to PBWiki? We have loads of documents and it will take forever if we have to save every image contained within them.
