Recently active topics in PBwiki tagged with hide

Is it possible to hide all or some of the editing controls on my page? Most of my readers are non-technical and will use the wiki read-only. So they get overwhelmed with the busyness of our wiki pages. I'm thinking especially of the 2.0 tools, such as: Put this page in a folde, Add Tags, Page Security.

Is there a way to hide "recent wiki activity" from public viewing in version 2?

I have the "hideable" pages option added to a silver level wiki. When attaching a file on a "hidden" page the file can still be viewed by any user on the "files" page.
