Incremental search / Better locate on insert WIKI Link dialogue.
Our WIKI is has 250 pages and I expect it to top 1000 when it is complete, well, when it heads toward maintenance mode. When you click "link" and select "wiki", you get a drop down of all the pages. This is really painful to find the correct page. Being able to do an incremental - match anywhere in the page name, would speed this up and make it a lot less hassle to add links to existing pages.
AFAIK you don't get a well maintained link if you just paste the URL into the edited page.

New search doesn't give you an easy means of getting back to the FrontPage. It'd be great if it used the standard template with the link to "home".

I am having a problem with the Link feature when I chose the Target Tab the <popup> feature will not work. When I look at the HTML code for the page it shows that the <popup> feature is forbidden. Why have this be an option if your page code cannot handle it appropriately.

When I right click | Edit Link on a pbwiki link, I am sure it used to show the link dialogue as "wiki link" and the name of the page that the link pointed to, i.e. in the drop down.

Today it appears:
IE7 - like an external URL
Firefox 3- Like a new WIKI page.

Has something changed, was it never like I think it should be, can someone check their V1 WIKI?

When I create a link to a new page and save my edits, there is nothing notable about the new link.

Because this link has no content, it should be flagged in some easy to recognize way. In fact, there is text somewhere that actually describes it as differentiated...

I'm loving 2.0, but trying to figure out how to make PBwiki the centralized dashboard for my team.

One of the issues is that when I link to external sites, these obviously open up in either a blank window, a new tab or in the current window. When that happens my folks "leave" PBwiki.

I'd love for there to be a way that we can have links open up in the "body" of PBwiki or use some workaround so they can easily use the search or sidebar feature to get back to the wiki. Does that make sense? I just want PBWiki to drive everything and keep them in the interface.

I'm not sure if this is possible, but I thought I'd toss it out there...

Hard to make a short link with description in a list.

To make a description - separate from a link - in a numbered list, I have to
1. Undo the listness
2. Add my description on a new line with a leading space
3. Delete the carriage return
4. Select the whole list again
5. Click on numbered list the redo the listness

Using the point-and-click editor to add internal links, the selection box sorts the pages as follows:

'2 easy ways'
'Class times'
...(many other pages)
'Thesis Structure'
'WhatWikiIs'
'homogeneous'
'plugins'

Please fix this to make the sorting mechanism case-insensitive. It's very confusing not to find 'homogeneous' between 'FrontPage' and 'Honours Journal', which is where it should be.
