Why is it so hard to get new PBwiki users accounts? I have invited several teachers to join the new wiki that I set up for the school. When the teachers click on the link in the invitation email, they are sent to my.pbwiki.com. If they try to login, they do not yet have a password, and if they try to setup a new account, they get a message saying they already have an account.
The old login screen used to save the user name, email address, and "notify me" setting between logins. The new login screen only saves the email address, so I have to retype my user name and uncheck the "notify me" box. I preferred the old system.
Big problem! I have to login to a wiki for my class and it won't let me because I don't know the class's password/login key (it was never provided and I never had to actually login before)... I tried contacting my teacher (the administrator of the page), but she is not responding. I don't know what else to do and I have a homework assignment (which I desperately need to turn in for credit) by tomorrow morning! Does anyone have any ideas? (I already submitted a help ticket, but I doubt they'll get back to me in time.) Thanks!
I'm sure I'm putting in the right password, but your system keeps rejecting it. I've reset it about four times now...I'm raring to get my wiki going as I've got an idea I want to share with a group of others. But I'm struggling to do the basic operational bits. Help!!!
The username and password that I've been using is popping up by default on my log in page. I've tried clicking "log out completely" and I've deleted all my pbwiki cookies and I can't get rid of it. The checkmark for "remember me" is clicked by default, I believe.
How do I get rid of any username/password history so that if a student sits down an a computer (including mine!) they can't just click to log on as another student?
Is there any way to remove the whole option of "remember me" for computer labs. It's a terrible option for a public computer. And it should not be ticked off by default. Many of my students would totally ignore it.
I think that this is also messing up my ability to log in under different names/passwords. I have a few alternates and when I try to log in, I have to first delete the information that's already there (name, password) and then it doesn't seem to recognize other accounts that have been approved and have account profiles, unless I change the password (which I know 100% is the right one).
It appears a hyphen is not allowed in the domain for the access-by-email feature. If I enter @myexample.com it works. If I enter @my-example.com, I get this error:
Sorry '@my-example.com' doesn't look like a usable value for access-by-email.
The problem is, our most-used company domain has a hyphen in it.
I use Firefox 2.0.0.12 on a Windows XP Pro workstation. When I try to access a link in an email from Kathleen Ferenz, clicking it does spawn a browser tab. The browser tab automatically redirects to https://sanmateodtc.pbwiki.com/CTAP%2...
Up until the last time I tried to connect, the browser displayed an "Unable to Display" page. Now, (maybe because I'm logged in to write this post) it displays a login window.
So my question is, if users who do not have a login can't even display the login screen, how are they supposed to figure out how to view a wiki they've been invited to?
I had to fool around with my URL and discovered that I could get the main page of PBWiki to display by typing "pbwiki.com" only for the URL.

I just set up a wiki and I have recieved teh link in my E-mail, but when I click it, it asks for a key...but I have not set a key...so I clicked "lost the invite key" but I get the following message :
Oops - this wiki hasn't been set up yet, so we can't reset the invite key at this time. Please go back to your email inbox and look for the first email about this wiki.
Although I'm logged into my PBwiki account, to edit the BarCampSanAntonio page, I'm being asked for an invite key. I don't have an invite key.
I am also unable to "join" the wiki from my profile, it says "BarCampSanAntonio" doesn't exist when I conduct a search for it. However, I was able to join the main "BarCamp" wiki that seems to hold the BarCampSanAntonio page. Not sure what's going on here, but it's really frustrating not being able to sign up for an event I want to attend!
I can't log in! I can only access MyPBwiki. I cannot get into my actual wiki to edit it at all - when I try to log in, I get the log in page and then I see MyPBwiki home page.
I have tried resetting my password and I still can't get in. I've tried Safari, Firefox on both a PC and Mac and I can't get in. I tried logging in with my husband's account and he got in with no problem - so I think there's something wrong with my account.
OpenID login isn't working with IE7 and myOpenID. I think it's something to do with the script that generates a POST for OpenID v2. I think OpenID v1 providers are working fine. Firefox with v2 providers works fine.
myOpenID is complaining it does not receive an openid.mode parameter. TamperIE says that the only parameter being sent is openid.ns.
I received an email invite to join a pbwiki. But it didn't have the invite key in the email. How do I login to that wiki later without using the link in the email?
i have been unable to login to my PBWiki - la-perla-garden - when i use the email address under which i had set it up, I get the message "We don't have a record of that address."
Yet when I send a message to the owner, it is sent to be at the address that PBWiki says they have no record of
I had made some pages on franchise.schtuff.com. they are now not accessible. I made these pages couple of years ago I think. Now I am not sure which email account I used to create it.
Can you provide me with the email account that I used to create franchise.schtuff.com ?
Why my PBwiki tells me that my email does not belong to the owner of it?
When I send an email to the owner I receive it in my email account!
My PBwiki Account says: You don't have access to any wikis yet and iI cannot add it because I neither know the invite key or password to it.
I created digitalvidea.pbwiki.com in 2007.
My premium, private 2.0 wiki doesn't provide a "request access" button. In Security settings, there is nothing where there should be the option: "Let people request access to view or edit the wiki. Administrators will be notified when someone requests to join the wiki." It's completely missing.
