My premium, private 2.0 wiki doesn't provide a "request access" button. In Security settings, there is nothing where there should be the option: "Let people request access to view or edit the wiki. Administrators will be notified when someone requests to join the wiki." It's completely missing.
Is it possible to grant domain-wide access to a wiki? That is, anyone with an e-mail address @mydomain.com could automatically join as a writer and wouldn't need approval from an admin. Also, so people with a different e-mail address could still request access, as they can now.
The username and password that I've been using is popping up by default on my log in page. I've tried clicking "log out completely" and I've deleted all my pbwiki cookies and I can't get rid of it. The checkmark for "remember me" is clicked by default, I believe.
How do I get rid of any username/password history so that if a student sits down an a computer (including mine!) they can't just click to log on as another student?
Is there any way to remove the whole option of "remember me" for computer labs. It's a terrible option for a public computer. And it should not be ticked off by default. Many of my students would totally ignore it.
I think that this is also messing up my ability to log in under different names/passwords. I have a few alternates and when I try to log in, I have to first delete the information that's already there (name, password) and then it doesn't seem to recognize other accounts that have been approved and have account profiles, unless I change the password (which I know 100% is the right one).
I'd like to be able to use student's real names (so I can monitor their work and know who's doing what without having to constantly be looking up account names on a list) but my district doesn't permit full student names to be posted on public sites.
I could use first name and last initial as the student name but are they any other ideas?
Why my PBwiki tells me that my email does not belong to the owner of it?
When I send an email to the owner I receive it in my email account!
My PBwiki Account says: You don't have access to any wikis yet and iI cannot add it because I neither know the invite key or password to it.
I created digitalvidea.pbwiki.com in 2007.
I had made some pages on franchise.schtuff.com. they are now not accessible. I made these pages couple of years ago I think. Now I am not sure which email account I used to create it.
Can you provide me with the email account that I used to create franchise.schtuff.com ?
i have been unable to login to my PBWiki - la-perla-garden - when i use the email address under which i had set it up, I get the message "We don't have a record of that address."
Yet when I send a message to the owner, it is sent to be at the address that PBWiki says they have no record of
I received an email invite to join a pbwiki. But it didn't have the invite key in the email. How do I login to that wiki later without using the link in the email?
OpenID login isn't working with IE7 and myOpenID. I think it's something to do with the script that generates a POST for OpenID v2. I think OpenID v1 providers are working fine. Firefox with v2 providers works fine.
myOpenID is complaining it does not receive an openid.mode parameter. TamperIE says that the only parameter being sent is openid.ns.
I paid extra to have a custom domain. wiki.kookyplan.com rather than kookyplan.pbwiki.com
But, the trouble is....
After I log in with my id and password....it gives me a link to the wiki.kookyplan.com....and if I follow it...I go to the frontPage, but it doesnt remember that I logged in....and asks me to do it again.
Then, if I try to log in from there...TROUBLE...a warning message pops up on IE...telling me that the page name and the page address are not the same...and that I should be careful!!!
I can't log in! I can only access MyPBwiki. I cannot get into my actual wiki to edit it at all - when I try to log in, I get the log in page and then I see MyPBwiki home page.
I have tried resetting my password and I still can't get in. I've tried Safari, Firefox on both a PC and Mac and I can't get in. I tried logging in with my husband's account and he got in with no problem - so I think there's something wrong with my account.
Is there a way to see user login information for each user? Currently you list the content created and the user that created it; It would be great to see last login info for each user.
Although I'm logged into my PBwiki account, to edit the BarCampSanAntonio page, I'm being asked for an invite key. I don't have an invite key.
I am also unable to "join" the wiki from my profile, it says "BarCampSanAntonio" doesn't exist when I conduct a search for it. However, I was able to join the main "BarCamp" wiki that seems to hold the BarCampSanAntonio page. Not sure what's going on here, but it's really frustrating not being able to sign up for an event I want to attend!
I'm sure I'm putting in the right password, but your system keeps rejecting it. I've reset it about four times now...I'm raring to get my wiki going as I've got an idea I want to share with a group of others. But I'm struggling to do the basic operational bits. Help!!!
I've registered for the Project Management Webinar on the 15th. But I don't know how to get there. I expected an email invite or something. Can you tell me where to go at the appointed time? I do recall seeing that my registration went through, but I don't remember seeing any login instructions.
