Its really important that primarily no one can copy my images, because there are not mine and i have to protect them... -

Why can't I cut and paste a spreadsheet into my wiki? Last reply on June 11, 2008 21:52.
I found multiple ways to have a spreadsheet on my wiki, but I have a spreadsheet that is already in progress that I'd LOVE to be able to cut/paste into a a spreadsheet on the wiki so I can have my group edit it in real time. Any ideas on how I can do that? -

How have you structured the tagging functionality? What kinds of analysis can be done on the collective set of tags for a pbwiki?
I am interested in accessing the large number of tags that have been created on a wiki for a university composition course in order to do some analysis, including clustering and looking for emergent semantics. I wanted to know how pbwiki manages the tags in its underlying database, whether I could download the tags for analysis using another app, in what formats I could download them, what associated information (i.e., users and pages) I could download with them, and so on.
The wiki I'm interested in analyzing is wyrd2thewiki.pbwiki.com.

Within pbwiki 2.0, is it possible to set up notifications on a page basis? For example, some users might only want to be notified when certain pages are changed, rather than when any page within the entire wiki is changed.

I would like to add a page to multiple folders. This is useful, for example, when keeping track of vendors and products; the Vendor folder would contain all the products for that vendor, while the Product Category folder would contain all the products (from different vendors) that belong to that category.
Any chance of doing this? -

There are several pages on our wiki that were not initially filed into folders. Is there a way to easily move them into an existing folder?

I am using my pbwiki as a class webpage. I need to be able to keep track of who makes what changes, because I want to be able to grade participation in the wiki, and also keep track of any vandalism.
So there are two problems, one right from the begining. If I invite my students by plugging their email into the invite screen, they get an email that has a link, the link asks them to create a password for their pbwiki account, and then they can add my wiki to their account. The problem is that, now instead of a name, like "Joe Smith", I see in my Users list an email like "jojowikity123@someemail.com".
The second problem is that, when I look at the history for a page, I usually see who edited it (but it seems like a page with one edit doesn't show it), but I can't see who deleted a page. Not too much of a problem since I don't have any students who have the ability to delete pages, but I might have some students become moderators, and then that's something that I'd need. It'd also be nice to see that I've deleted a page anyway, so that I could undelete it later.

i'd like to insert a music player/playlist as in the kind that works for myspace...it would not work using the html because it is in standard formatting. but i was able to preview it in the youtube video plug-in, but once i "saved" the changes, it was no-longer there
(i am using the music sight "playlist.com" it gives me formating for myspace, facebook, gaia online, friendster, and then an "other" format for others, all of which i've tried where possible and have been unsuccessful in adding to my PBwiki page) -

Does the free version of pbwiki offer an option to restrict the viewing of certain pages within a wiki? We are creating a wiki for a research project in Nicaragua and want certain pages to be private and accessible only to people participating on the trip. We also want other pages to be publicly viewable so that friends and family can see pictures and updates, etc. Is this possible, or do we need to create two separate wikis in order for some pages to be public and some be private?
