Can people comment without editing? Last reply on June 12, 2008 23:08.
I don't want to give people access to edit pages, but I would like them to be able to add comments on the comments tab. Is this possible? I have a platinum wiki, if that helps.
Thanks!

mass add of email addresses for sharing doesn't work Last reply on June 03, 2008 15:07.
the help page says:
Click “Share this wiki” at the bottom of your wiki. You’ll be able to email large amounts of users
there is no "share this wiki" at the bottom of the page, the "share this wiki" on the side of the page only allows me to add one address at a time! I need to add multiple addresses at a time -

How to re-invite Users who did not receive an invitation Last reply on May 05, 2008 09:27.
You can re-invite Users to a wiki if they did not receive the first invitation. I was able to test this in one of my sample 2.0 style wikis.
To invite Users to a 2.0 wiki, you go to the Users page in Settings and use the "Add Users" section. All it requires is an email address and the level of access you wish to give them.
If they say that they did not receive the email from us, you can remove them from the Users list as shown here.
Once they have been removed, you can try inviting them again in the "Add Users" section. -

How do I copy my wiki? Last reply on March 28, 2008 19:29.
Can I duplicate a wiki? I want to give a colleague a copy of my wiki so that she can use it with her class. She'd like to customize it for her own use, add her own notes etc. Is there a way to copy the wiki (and all of the files I've uploaded) to another account for her? I don't want lose my stuff, and I would rather not have her teaching notes interspersed with my own... -

Suggestion: Feature good Pbwiki page examples on homepage. Last reply on February 07, 2008 21:09.
Why not feature one or two excellent examples of Pbwiki pages? For new users to easily see what a page looks like? Also, the community link on top of the page could be more obvious (larger), or a different button somewhere else that's more obvious, thanks. -

I just invited someone to my wiki, and got a message, "Quota bonus awarded for sharing!"
Does anyone know what that means? -

I'm learning about how permissions work Last reply on February 28, 2008 02:26.
Would someone be able to explain how permissions work?
I run a consulting company. I also handle sales for a small local company.
Here's what I'd like to accomplish. Four different things.
(1) My own intranet. Private notes about websites, referrals, clients, customer feedback, data, etc. Viewable only by me.
(2) Client-to/from-Me communication. Like a Private Messaging board where we have a permanently recorded discussion, and share documents and drafts. Ideally I would not be able to edit what they say, and they would not be able to edit what I say - just add on to the current discussion. Viewable only by me and the specific client.
(3) Policies and procedures for my staff. Viewable by me and my staff. Editable by just me.
(4) Interactive pages that my staff or me could add to and change.
I hope PBwiki can do a lot of this. Maybe not everything, it isn't an all-in-one toolbox and understand that. I'm also evaluating TikiWiki and a hosted ticketing system (for possible use as a private message board.) I use DabbleDB for my sales CRM. Any thoughts on complementary software is also appreciated. -

What's up with sharing the wiki? Last reply on February 23, 2008 17:12.
I'm wondering why the access levels at which I can offer to share my wiki seem to be inconsistent. If I sign in to my wiki with the contributor password, I can invite others to be contributors (and lower levels), but if I sign in at a higher level as moderator, then I can invite others to read only. Isn't this backward? -

Page/Folder permissions - Public/Private options Last reply on February 07, 2008 20:16.
Hi,
Me again about the eagerly awaited page permissions. Is there going to be an option make a page or a folder public or private i.e. the default is private but you have the option to 'publish' it so it can be picked up by search engines. Currently this is only available as a wiki-wide option. I suppose if the wiki was 'public' the all you would have to do would assign permissions to each new page which would stop Jo public seeing it. However, I want my wiki to default to private and then have the option to 'publish' it. Is this going to be possible.
