The SideBar permanently covers part of the page but it is used when you want to navigate out of the page. Would it make sense to have as a drop-down or a tab.
How can I delete the boxes on the right panel (Recent Activity, Sharing, Folders)? I know you can minimize the boxes, or minimize the sidebar altogether, but I'd like to actually delete the boxes from my 2.0 wiki.
When you have loads of pages in a folder, the sidebar disappears off the bottom of the page - it would be great if the sidebar was displayed just underneath the search box and therefore above the "In Folder" block so this didn't happen and was in a consistent place when navigating between pages
How can I create a new sidebar? I didn't need it at the time I created the wiki, but as my wiki evolved, I decided I'd like it back. Can you put two sidebars on your wiki? Can you change the title of the sidebar?
I wanted to rename RecentActivity page but it disappeared from the sidebar when I did it. Now I want it back, I re-renamed it back to "RecentActivity" but it doesn't show in the sidebar. What should I do?
Yak Pak was deleted from our sidebar. We reinstalled it, but it did not work. I looked at the Source Code and deleted all code associated with the Widget, then reinstalled it again...still no function. Have any ideas?
How do I add a flickr badge to my sidebar? I have a flickr badge, a combination of pictures on a flicker account. It displays in a frame, several pictures and it moves them around the frame. I have the code for it, and I placed it on my Blogger account, but I cant get it to go on my sidebar. Please help.
I've got a wiki that has 500+ pages ( seagarden.pbwiki.com if you're so inclined, though be advised it's not all public!) and so when I need to choose a page to link to, the list is excessively long, which means lots of scrolling and (for me, at least), missing the page until I've scrolled past it a few times!
Of course, having the "recently created" pages as links is helpful, but often I need one that's not recent :)
Is there a way to consolidate the links list -- this is in 2.0, mind -- into folders, or be able to type in the beginning of the name, so relevant pages only pop up?
I tried fidding with the crtl+L and bracketing to make links, but that didn't seem to work. I'm in Firefox now, though I usually use Safari.
On some computers the text of my site gets pushed below the sidebar when the page loads. It also does the same thing when I have the favorites frame open in explorer. Is there a way to have the contents of my page to auto fit regardless of the computer?
Okay so now I need the sidebar to run the full length of the page now matter how much content it holds. The reason I need this is because I have the sidebar floating to the left and when I start filling up the content section it drops under the sidebar and looks horrible. I have tried to set the sidebar height to 100% in CSS but to no avail. I also read that I needed to set the parent container height and that 100% would work because the sidebar div just needs something to be 100% of. I did that and it didn't work. However if I set a hard px number say 500px for the height of the display content area then the 100% trick works. However I can't set a hard number because the page needs to grow for as much as I put in or my users put in. Any help would be great. THANKS!!
I am using the wiki as a forum where my students can meet to construct a group project. I would like to know though how I can see whether they logged on and how long they stayed. Is this possible?
