How can I delete the boxes on the right panel (Recent Activity, Sharing, Folders)? Last reply on March 24, 2008 18:04.

How can I delete the boxes on the right panel (Recent Activity, Sharing, Folders)? I know you can minimize the boxes, or minimize the sidebar altogether, but I'd like to actually delete the boxes from my 2.0 wiki.

Why can't I see the YackChat button? Last reply on March 16, 2008 05:08.

Using SeaMonkey I cannot see the YackChat button on the sidebar, even though it said it created it. Do I HAVE to use IE?

I use the SeaMonkey (netscape/mozilla suite successor) and cannot see the YackChat button. not in pbwiki 1.0 or 2.0, although in 1.0 it showed the first day I put it in. Now it does not. It's supposed to be in the sidebar. Could put it on the front page if it's not supposed to be put there. I'll check Internet Explorer to see if it shows.

    Hi,

Is it possible to have the sidebar be a bit lower to accommodate a graphic banner on the main page?

    Thanks!

How do I remove edit link on SideBar pages? Last reply on March 14, 2008 18:03.

How do I remove the edit link in my SideBar ? When I open the SideBar page for editing, I don't see any additional code (http://goodos.pbwiki.com/SideBar?edit=1) on the page, but after I save the SideBar page, it shows up with an edit link. It looks like PBwiki is automatically adding this link. How do I tell it to stop?
    For an example see:
    http://goodos.pbwiki.com/
    Thanks,
    Dave

How can I create a new sidebar? Last reply on March 08, 2008 18:52.

How can I create a new sidebar? I didn't need it at the time I created the wiki, but as my wiki evolved, I decided I'd like it back. Can you put two sidebars on your wiki? Can you change the title of the sidebar?

Why is sidebar atop other text? Last reply on March 10, 2008 19:36.

Sometimes the Sidebar is looser, in the upper right, and atop other text. Why?

If I could read the manual, I might understand, but I can't find TFM.

Customizing the SideBar so it spans the entire height of the page Last reply on March 08, 2008 00:03.

While we are really happy about pbwiki there is one thing in particular that is causing us major problems and that is the SideBar!

In our wiki we have a lot of tables, list of documents, data, etc. and depending on the screen resolution this is either displayed in the top of the page or it gets pushed down below the sidebar. In really grim situations on some of our computers the screen resolution makes the sidebar so long that the content of the page (table) get pushed out of the view, which confuses some people so they think the page is empty. Also even if you set the width of the table in percent it seams to be of the text area and it does not account for the sidebar.

A really nice and potentially beautiful solution would be if the web page could have two columns one for the main text area (on the left) and the sidebar spanning the full height of a text area on the right. For an example (if this description is not clear enough) please see my public webpage:

    www.hst.aau.dk/~krist

My subjective oppinion/guess is that this would also make the pages look much nicer and more uniform across different computers. Is this possible in pbwiki? Help will be really appreciated, thanks in advance.

    best regards,
Kristian Hennings (on behalf of the EEG Laboratry, Aalborg Hospital)

    P. S. It would be nice if it can be done without css but if not so be it! I guess we'll have to learn it sooner or later.

YakPak Won't Talk Back Last reply on March 06, 2008 22:36.

Yak Pak was deleted from our sidebar. We reinstalled it, but it did not work. I looked at the Source Code and deleted all code associated with the Widget, then reinstalled it again...still no function. Have any ideas?

Changing SideBar style Last reply on March 03, 2008 20:30.

How do I make my SideBar narrower? Right now, it is about 4 times as wide as the text it contains. I would really like for it to be narrow enough to include its contents without line wrapping.

'Recently editied pages' box Last reply on February 28, 2008 04:50.

Can you set this not to appear on some pages - or is there some way to get it to 'float'. At the moment it causes a great gap to open up between the page heading and the first line of text.

SideBar as a dropdown menu or tab Last reply on February 26, 2008 18:53.

The SideBar permanently covers part of the page but it is used when you want to navigate out of the page. Would it make sense to have as a drop-down or a tab.

    Editing h1, h2, h3 Last reply on February 18, 2008 16:10.

When rewriting the wiki.css, h1, h2, and h3 are not changing when I write new declarations.

    I have tried simply writing

    h1 { font-size: 1em; }

Then I stepped it up to

    #displaycontent h1{ font-size: 1em; }

and neither of those worked. However, when I used the second code I wrote in the tester CSS program supplied by PBwiki, it worked perfectly.
