just got back on my wiki, after an awesome Webinar, and got this message.

Help ! ! ! !
I was very please to find PBwiki but I need a workable solution to the below issues before I will have faith to use it further:
The 'free' or 'trial' version asks for a private or public setting yet does not have the private functionality - this is misleading and should be made clear before the account is established!
This combined with the fact that you can't exchange the email address that you submit to open the account (believing that it would be 'Private') for another email address leaves me dis-trusting what otherwise appears to be just what I was looking for!
So why not just delete the new wiki and start again - because I used the wiki name that I want and it says that if you delete a wiki the name will never be available again!
I don't want to have extra spaces between lines when I print out pages -- or more precisely, I want the wiki entries I print to look how they do in the web browser. ... Even when I do the "print version" button, additional spaces magically appear, especially around bullets...
Finally, I would like to be able to save wiki entries as Word docs or PDFs, if possible, and I would like to be able to copy and paste a word document into a wiki entry without losing the formatting.
I am trying to get a business on board to use the wiki, but these are some of the issues that bring about a lot of resistance.
we have put an xls file up and have been notified that "the site suggests that the file be handled as an attachment, and even suggests a hame for the file: aplacetocallhome.pbwiki.com/f/masterREOCAD.xls
My students keep getting dropped from the user list (not by me). So far it has happened to 3-4 different students who use a variety of email providers (hotmail, yahoo, etc.).
Hi - I made a number of edits to a page in my wiki yesterday, including copying/pasting a table from a webpage into the wiki. I added additional content on the page following the table. After each Save the formatting all appeared fine.
Today the page is corrupted - the 'Wiki Information' and 'Recent PBWiki Blog Posts' sections that normally appear in each wiki page footer are appearing in the body of the table I copied in, and all of the text in the table and everything that followed it on the page has disappeared. I've managed to get to the history for the page, but all of the earlier revisions are corrupted in the same way. Is there any way I can correct this and retrieve my work? All help appreciated!
extremely urgent - uploaded a picture, wiped out all verbiage on page - emergency. Is there a way to get an archived page? I don't have a copy of the page, and it appears to be gone (after simply uploading a picture, which has always worked in the past)
I'm having a problem deleting my PBwiki. I want to delete it, and I am the administrator of the PBwiki, but I no longer have access to the e-mail address I used when I made the PBwiki in the first place. Is there any way I can have you delete the PBwiki for me?
Please, kindly help me to adjust my wiki settings since same it is not commercial I think I have uploaded over10mb ! I have checked in my settings but I could not locate where I can confirm that I have correctly marked that htis is not a business one!!

I generally introduce a new wiki by having my links prepared while I set up - now I get a message that asks me if I want to get new info or take me to my wiki - this is too surprising and it not what i expect when I click on a link.
this is NOT good for new users of a wiki - can this stop?
Hopefully I describe this adequately... let me know if you need screen shots or something.
I have two private wikis, one created back in April '07, and one created in December '07.
In the April wiki, I'm using Snakeskin as the skin. In the Dec wiki, I'm using Hyperreal.
No problems with anything in Firefox.
In the April wiki, I don't have any known issues (even if I change to Hyperreal).
In the Dec wiki, I have two main problems:
1. If I edit a page, when I click anywhere in WYSIWYG mode I get a transparent, bordered box overlaying the content, preventing me from clicking on any text. If I right click, I get a context menu with a single option: Remove Link. (If I do that, it removes all links on the page.) The cursor also becomes a "move" cursor (four arrows). This occurs in all themes.
2. I left the default yellow-background paragraph with edit instructions at the bottom of the page. In Hyperreal, the yellow-background extends to the entire page if the window is resized so that the Sidebar box causes the content to drop below it, but there is no horizontal scroll bar. (In other words, everything on the page has a yellow background.) When the sidebar is not movign the text, or when the horizontal scrollbar is visible, this is not a problem. This occurs in IE7/Vista and IE6/XP.
We use a lot of tables for our pages, and we need the pdf functionality to create documents for people that we don't want looking at our the wiki. Unfortunately, the pdf that is created has a lot of misaligned cells with data in the wrong places. It's ugly...real ugly. Help!
