How do I link an image on the front page to another page in the wiki? I have a JPG image on the first page that I would like to act as a hyperlink to another page of the wiki. Thanks for any help!
Is it OK to copy a discussion, or parts of one to a wiki?
Why is it OK to quote anyone's posting? Isn't anyone who does that subject to vast penalties for violating the automatic copyright of the author? I agree that would be absurd, but the law is an ass.
There are so many dumb problems with this forum that I want to move any interesting discussion into a pbwiki page and avoid using these overly wide pages at all.
I'd like to have a wiki where my students can be placed in groups, and other groups cannot see what they are working on until the day the project is due. Then I'd like to make the projects public. Is that possible?
I am currently using a Premium Silver Wiki, but I really don't need the features, so I'd like to downgrade back to the free wiki. How do I do that? Also, I don't know if I signed up for a monthly or annual subscription. Where can I check that? Thanks.
Can we insert an active tag cloud into our pbwiki?
I'd like to be able to create a tag cloud on my wiki page that is active and represents the tags I have inputted that describe the resources I've listed there.
When a tag is clicked then the resources that have that tag are highlighted in some way.
When I copy and paste in the WYSWIG editor it messes up the text and adds a lot of spurious stylesheet code. Ultimately this messes up the entry significantly.
Under the "Notifications" option in Settings, I had turned off Notifications ("Stop Notifications") for everyone on the team because I was worried that I'd be filling up everyone's inboxes with every change I make. I thought I would be able to turn it back on when I create a page that I want everyone to know of, but I can't seem to figure out how to. I would like to reset this notification function to "ON" for everyone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Is there a way of sending a picture behind text, so that the picture become a background to the text? -- Easy enough to do this in MS Word -- but a Word page formatted this way won't paste into PB Wiki
I would like to integrate my WIKI into my current website and use PBWIKI as a content manager tool that my office can edit. If they edit the WIKI, my website automatically updates. Is this possible?
I would like to have mutliple WIKI's in PBWIKI. For example: Company MIssion, Mailing Address, Blah. Blah. Blah, but all of this as a wiki in PBWIKI.
The link I'd like to us is to an outside website that has spaces in it's location. I can't get the link to work properly. The link automatically changes the spaces to a "+" sign. Even if I use "%20" as a space holder, when I save the page I'm editing , the program converts it the string to a "+." It even happens if I just paste the link into the text of the page - at save, it converts to "+" and doesn't work.
I started a wiki about seven months ago but never got it set up. Now I have time to do that and I can't find the set up email. Is there anything I can do to get the wiki set up? Thanks!
I keep seeing references to webinars for PBwiki, but I can't seem to find any other information. Does such a webinar exist? I have figured out the basics, but I'm sure there are many features I'm missing out on.
I'm the administrator of a private wiki (along with a couple of other contributors), but I'd like to be able to see a more 'user-friendly' view of my wiki when i don't plan on contributing anything. is there a way to toggle between my admin view and just a regular 'read-only' view?
