Can I make my wiki password protected? How do I invite users and give them the invite key?
I have a wiki that I want only the people in my office to use. I want to invite only those 5 people and give them the invite key to log in. How do I protect my wiki? How do I invite my office mates?

Inappropriate?First, when you set up your wiki, you can choose to make it private. Do so. If you've already created it, go into "Settings" and then "Public/Private" and change the setting there.
Then, go to "Keys and Access" and set up the Invite Key. From there, you can give that password to your coworkers, and only people who have that password will be able to get in. No one else will, unless they have access to the password, which is why this option is fairly insecure.
However, if you have each of your office mates create a PBwiki Account (direct them to my.pbwiki.com), and you as the Admin invite them to the wiki by going to "Settings" and then "Users" and entering each of their email addresses, they won't even have to have the password, but they will still have access, and FOR REAL no one else will. This is the best way to do things on your end, because it makes it easy for you to add more users to your wiki when you hire more people, and if someone leaves, all you have to do is remove their account from your wiki, you don't have tho change the password every time.

Inappropriate?I'm learning. I didn't intent to flag this. I was trying to like bookmark it. Sorry. I can't figure out how to unflag it.

Inappropriate? No problem! It's not obvious enough how this works. And, we'll be updating it very soon. So, less confusion, I hope!

Inappropriate?I'd like to send e-mail invitations and have users set up a PB Wiki account, yhis apparently is the only way that one will know who has changed a page. Since I have almost 200 individuals to invite, I'm looking for a batch upload feature I don't seem to see, In addition, the e-mail that PB Wiki generates inviting people to the wiki is kind of...well, not my style, so how can I provide my own invitation or modify what PB wiki sends?.
I’m undecided

Inappropriate?Where can I find the topic "Keys and Access" and set up the Invite Key
-
Inappropriate? It's a link in your wiki - log in as the administrator, and in the upper right-hand corner, you'll see a link called "Settings." Click that, and on the left-hand side there is another link called "Keys and Access" which is where you can set the invite keys.
