Can you sort dates in a sortable table?
I'm using the sortable table function in pbwiki 2.0.
Unfortunately, it seems to handle dates (such as 6/3/2008) as a number (632008) so that a date such as 5/30/2008 (5302008) would be listed higher than 6/2/2008. In other words, it just doesn't work for dates, which seems like a pretty basic function.
Is there any workaround or plan to address this issue?

Inappropriate?could you work around this by using 6/02/2008 instead?

that would solve that one...but it still wouldn't really work. for example, the dates 6/02/2008, 12/05/2007, 8/03/2007 and 3/30/2007 would sort as follows (from high to low): 12/05/2007, 8/03/2007, 6/02/2008, 3/30/2007. I guess a work around would be to include dates in the chart as follows: YYYY/MM/DD, but that is not particularly elegant. -
Inappropriate?I'm fairly certain that the sorttable javascript library has date recognition built into it. In fact, I made the following demo that seemed to work fine: http://vupublictest.pbwiki.com/SortTa...
Is that not the behavior you're seeing? If so, could we take a look at your page?
