Can't define column width in Beta 2.0
Cannot define table column width in Beta 2.0. No PROPERTIES option when right clicking on table, choosing Cell.

Inappropriate?HTML tables are a bit funny, because by defining the width of the top cell in a column, that effectively defines the maximum width for that entire column.
I really hope that helps. You've been at it with these tables for a while!

Inappropriate?But I cannot define the width of ANY cell, top or not. The drop-down when right-clicking on a column no longer displays the PROPERTIES option that allows the width definition. What is displayed:
Insert cell before
Insert cell after
Delete cells
Merge right
Merge down
Split cell horizontally (and this option is only 1/2 displayed)
I am assuming that the rest of the options rae below SPLIT CELL HORIZONTALLY, but they cannot be accessed as the window is static in size. Pleaes assist. Again, this is in the Beta 2.0 version, not point & click. Thanks for your help! -
Inappropriate?It's been my experience that the columns auto-fit to the width of the information contained within the column. I don't believe there is a way to define the exact width, unless perhaps you get fancy with the source code. You could input something like this: <td width="300"> </td>
