Cell Background Color is Broken
When I checked out the page source, pbwiki had added a bgcolor attribute to the cell in question. I was able to fix the problem by changing it to a style attribute (namely, style="background-color:<color>"), but this hack really should not be necessary.</color>

Inappropriate?Hi Andrew,
I just saw the same thing happen. Thanks for reporting this. I'll make sure it gets some attention. -
Inappropriate? We're actually discussing it within our bug tracker. Thanks! :-)
-
Inappropriate? The bg button just gives the text a background (in Safari) and not the cell, which is what I want.
-
Inappropriate?Sorry J.
The background colors in cells do not work right now.
We are working on that. I can't promise when it will be fixed. -
Inappropriate?Hello - good news! Our engineers are rolling out a bug fix this afternoon that should fix this issue. Please let us know if it works/doesn't work for you.
I’m happy we have such talented engineers

Inappropriate?Great! Thanks.
But why are the color pickers different for the toolbar bg color and the control-click cell properties color picker?
I’m sad
-
What do you mean? If you select "more colors" in the background color box, you'll get the same color picker. -
Inappropriate?Right. But what if I usually use the standard color picker in the pop-up menu and then use the other color picker. How do I match the color without trial and error?
-
Inappropriate? You raise a valid point, as the only way to know what color is in the swatches is by going into source mode and looking up the rgb values.
I have filed an internal feature request ticket #986 in response to this thread. Thanks for your suggestions!
