Class wiki - protected?
I would like to create a wiki for 27 students to share. I want it to be protected. Is the only way to do this to have a password?

What kind of protection are you referring to? If you're trying to keep non-wiki members from accessing a wiki, then that is built into all wikis, which require either a wiki-wide password (which we are phasing out), or individual permissions for a given PBwiki Account.
If you're trying to protect a wiki from students who may cause irreparable damage to a wiki, then I suggest getting a premium wiki, which offers multiple levels of users and access (contributor, moderator, administrator, etc.)
