Do any external comment clients work with PBWiki?
I find the commenting feature a little bit limiting. I would like the comments to appear next to the text to which it refers. I would also like to make comments that contain more than 2000 characters and to be able to chain related comments together. Is there an external client that would let me do this. Thanks. Tom

A few weeks ago I added a step by step tutorial on how to add Haloscan to your wiki. Here it is.

Separately, PBwiki 2.0, out in the next few weeks, will have much better comment support, with comments being "inline" to the page and likely solving the issues you raise above.
