Help! My settings to create links have changed!
Once I started using the "globe" icon to create links, I can no longer create new pages when I click on "create a link to a new page" I have lost the ability to create a link to a new page and give it a name - instead, I can only choose from page names that have already been created. What happened or, more importantly, how can I get back to my old settings and still use the globe icon as well?

Inappropriate?hi pbjane- when you go to the link button, choose wiki page, and then in the next box, the first option should be "new page." Is this not appearing for you?

Inappropriate?yes that works but when I make this the new page( after giving it a new name and writing something on the new page and saving it) and click on the link it takes me back to the page where you choose the name and create a new page. I could link to a new page just fine yesterday (and the entire time I have been using wiki), today it is not working.

Inappropriate?They rolled out a new release of the software in the last 24 hours, so things have changed. Both the globe icon and the 'Insert a link to a new page' link do the same thing:
If you select '--New Page--', you can enter a new page name in the edit box below. When you click 'OK', they create the link, but do not create the page. Just create the link, save the page, then click the link, and it will take you to the 'Create new page' dialog. I never use this feature, so I can't say if that's different from how it worked before, but it seems to work consistently now.

Inappropriate?I do see a problem, though. When I click 'OK' (in Safari for Windows), nothing happens. No link is inserted in the page. It works fine in FF.

Inappropriate?Hi PBJane - it looks like the most recent version of Safari is 3.1.1. While we'd love to get this working for all browser versions your best option right now is to upgrade your browser.

Inappropriate?Wow, that's harsh. I'd hate to be one of the thousands of educational or corporate PBwiki users who use computers that belong to their school or employer, and don't have the luxury to just "upgrade your browser".

Inappropriate?pbjane, I apologize for the inconvenience. We'll work on getting this resolved as soon as possible for your current browser. In the meantime, try talking to your school's IT person - they may want to upgrade. Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.
