How can I change my front page without loosing the data?
I have something on my front page that I would like to put on a different page so that I can use my front page as an introduction to my wiki. How do I move it without loosing it all?

Inappropriate?If you create a new page, you can copy and paste the information there, and then you'll have it saved elsewhere. If it's something complex like an embedded video, write something like "beginning" above the video, and "end" under it, click the "Source" button, and copy everything in between "Beginning" and "end" and then you can paste it elsewhere.
You can also just delete it, but go to the "history" link at the bottom of the page, go to an older version where you had the information still there, and view it or revert the FrontPage to that older version. -
