How do I upload a video (I made in crazytalk) to a wiki page - when I do I get a black box and "video unavailable"
I've tried AVI , FLV, MOV, WMV formats. Same message :(

Inappropriate?I bet if you check back, you'll find your video is available now. We use a third party video host called Fliqz. When you use our Video Plugin, it uploads the video to Fliqz and they convert your video file to a web format. Sometimes it takes them a little while to convert it. That's when you'll see the message that the video isn't available.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the quck response!- how long am I likely to wait for it(the video to appear)? It's been nearly a full day already. Still no video.
-
Inappropriate? In that case, try the upload again. I've never heard of it taking that long. FLV format is the best to use. They don't have to convert it and it appears as available rather quickly.

Inappropriate?Me again. I tried re-loading the video. It's been about ten hours since then, and it still says "video unavailable". It was a short video, flash format. Is there a next step..?

Inappropriate?I have had the same problem with a .mov file. I tried to convert it to .flv on zamzar.com, but the file is too big. Is 127MB too big for my gold pbwiki?
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate?Hi Carolyn, yes ... it's too big. It's not that you don't have room for it. I'm sure you do.
The upload is probably failing because of time-out issues between your computer and our video host. You'd probably have the same problem trying to upload it into your Files page.
Some people seem to have no problems uploading enormous files and others seem to top out around 40mb or less. It mostly depends on who your internet service provider is.
You may be able to find a file host online who can reliably grab your upload. One place you might try is YouTube. You can easily display any videos you upload there by using the HTML plugin or the YouTube plugin.
Another approach may be to see if you can somehow reduce the size of your video or cut it up into smaller chapters.
I’m sorry I don't have a simple answer

Inappropriate?Hi Cliff,
Thanks for the quick reply. My video did start working a couple of hours later--what a great feature! If I have problems again, I'll try your other suggestions.
I’m confident

Inappropriate?Hi Clif,
My video finally showed up too (took two days, though) Just thought I'd let you know. I love using my wiki- so glad I can have the videos too. (I appreciate your earlier responses)
I’m happy
