How to delete multiple files at the same time!
Hi,
I know how to delete individual files, but, is there any way to delete multiple files at once? I have a very large number of small files that I would like to remove in preparation for next year's class and to delete them one at a time would be extremely time consuming. Tom

I'm sorry, at this time there is no bulk file deletion method. Have you considered creating a new wiki for next year's class?
That would give you a clean slate to start with.

I would create a new wiki except for two issues. 1. I would like to keep the new wiki to have the same name. and 2. I would like the new wiki to be basically identical to the old one minus the student's comments, work, etc. Thanks. Tom1 Comment

Hi tomers- with these issues, what you'll need to do is just go through and delete comments and work. In the future, when you have your wiki back to a blank slate, you may want to tag pages with the word "template". This way when you start classes next year, you can create new pages from the page templates. -
Inappropriate?I'm a teacher too. This need to be able to delete many files each year is an important one to us. Since pbwiki seems to be mainly for education and business, I hope that coding for a multiple file deletion feature is on the slate. -

Thanks for bringing up this important feature - multiple file deletion. We're going to be implementing this feature pretty soon, as well as some other cool file stuff.
Having had to recently delete a lot of files from my own wiki (about 200!) you can bet that I made a big fuss about getting this feature too! :)
