I get an error when I try to create a link to another website: "Page names can't have a slash in them."

This is a fairly common problem. We try to make it easy to add links to other websites and also links to other pages in your wiki.

Both of these types of links, URL link, and Page links, are made using the Link button.

That message about "slashes in a page name" is most often caused when the link dialog is not filled out correctly. This is our fault more than yours. We will be looking at ways to make the dialog more easily understood.

When you highlight text and choose the link button, the dialog defaults to a Page style link.

You need to choose the link type of URL when you add a link to another web site as shown in this picture below.
