I'd like to remove either the Quick Start, Recent Activity, or Sidebar (or all three) from my wiki. How can I do this?

You can remove any of these pages by clicking on the "Show all pages" link at the bottom of your wiki. This will bring up an index of all the pages on your wiki, along with a delete button for each page.
Please be careful when deleting pages- deletions are permanent!

Inappropriate?Hi Norris. And just to be clear: If you delete the page called "SideBar", the actual SideBar will be removed from the side of all pages. Same for QuickStart and and RecentActivity.
I’m happy

Inappropriate?I would like to delete the Recent Activity tab (I already deleted the Quick Start) so that just the Sidebar shows. However, I want the recent activity to be available to wiki administrators. Is this possible? I will wait for an answer before taking any action.

If you've upgraded your wiki to a premium plan, and contacted either sales or billing about getting "Hideable Pages" you'll be able to hide the Recent Activity page so that only Admins can see it. -
Casey, I just tested this, and it doesn't work. The Recent Activity page is, indeed hidden, but if you go to the FrontPage, the 'Recent Activity' tab still shows the recent activity. -
Casey, see my next post. I can't post it in a comment, because comments don't allow links (or any html, apparently). -
Apparently, 'Delete this comment' doesn't work yet, either. Sorry. :( -
No worries, I gotcha. I think there's a 15 min timer on being able to edit/delete a comment here, but i've noticed that disappearing if you refresh the page. Also, no notifications for comments. Now that sounds familiar... -
Inappropriate?Casey, I tested the idea from your comment, but it doesn't work. If you go to the Recent Activity page, you are prompted to log in, but...if you go the FrontPage, you can see the Recent Activity tab and it's contents.
Ms. P,
Here's how you can accomplish your goals, using Casey's excellent suggestion.
(1) Create a new page, named something like "Recent Activity for Admins".
(2) Edit the "real" RecentActivity page, and copy the contents (click "Source", then click in the edit window, press Ctrl-A to select all, then Ctrl-C to copy).
(3) On the new page, click "Source". Paste those contents into the edit window (Ctrl-V).
(4) Mark the page as 'hidden', and save it.
(5) Test the new page to make sure it shows the Recent Activity information.
(6) Once you've verified that the new page works, delete the old RecentActivity page. Now, only admins can see that information.
You should be all set!
I’m glad to help
