iframe in pbwiki
Hey,
I tried to embed a forum by using iframes in my pbwiki, but it didn't work.
I opened a new page, insert a new plugin -> PBwiki Magic -> Html and put the code
<iframe src="http://www.google.de"></iframe>
What is wrong? Hope you can help me.
Thank you very much
wanda

Inappropriate? They have "improved security" so you can't use iframes from the HTML plugin (thus breaking all the previous posts where they tell you to use iframes). Just put the code inside the 'any Goodle Gadget' plugin, and it should work (until they "improve" that, too!)
I’m hoping this continues to work

Inappropriate?Fawkes (or anyone) since we are talking about iframes. I have used one in a 1.0 wiki but everytime the user clicks a specific link it takes them away from the iframe. Do you know how to stop this. I want every single link that the user clicks to stay in that stinkin' thing and I can't get it to work like that.
-
Inappropriate? That's probably controlled by the browser. If the browser is set to "open links in a new window" (or tab), then there's not much you can do about it. If you have an example that's giving you problems, I'll be glad to check it out.

Inappropriate?Hu? Isn't that controlled by the source which is displayed in the iframe? Probably it says open links in new browser window ... If you have control over the source of your iframe's content you could change it over there. Else you're in bad luck.

Inappropriate?yeah I think I am in bad luck. I am trying to use an iframe to display a property finding script or code (I don't know which) that my client is paying for. The reason I want to do this is because the tool she pays for is displayed in a not very nicely designed site and I was using pbwiki 1.0 to create her pages and then display that tool. This makes it easier for her to make her own changes but displays nicely and keeps her clients away from the nasty looking page. But I think I might just be out of luck but I had a different idea. Does anyone know how to make a link open a new window and make that window scroll to a certain position on that new page. I can make the window the right size and position it correctly on the screen but I want to automatically scroll the contents of that window to a specific place? Anybody?
