I'm a newbie here, and I'm trying to add an RSS feed to an individual page. I am following the instructions found at rssfeed.pbwiki.com. I copied the address from the orange icon at the bottom of my wiki and clicked on Edit to edit my front page. Then I copied the code onto my front page and added?page=FrontPage to the end of the address. Then I clicked Save and looked at my page. I only saw the coding and not the RSS icon. I'm sure this is something very basic, but if anyone has time to advise me on the step(s) I'm missing that would be most helpful. Thanks.
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate?Just to clarify - it sounds like you're attempting to put the FrontPage RSS feed right back on the front page of your wiki. Is that correct? If so, please make sure that you're sure that's where you'd like to put it.
Please let us know exactly what steps you are using to do this. If necessary, please click on the "Help" link on the top right of your wiki to submit a ticket to our support team and we can take a look at your wiki with you, if needed. -
Inappropriate?Hey, I found a wiki that might be of help to you! I don't know much about RSS feeds myself, so you'll have to tell me how it works out for you: http://rssfeed.pbwiki.com/

Inappropriate?I want to put an RSS feed on the front page of a calendar wiki so that subscribers to this feed only get that page. the front page will show upcoming events to the community calendar. I have separate pages for each month. Now when people subscribe to the RSS feed on the front page they get notified of changes made to the other pages on the wiki. I just want them to be notified of changes made to the front page. I was following the directions at rssfeed.pbwiki.com. I think those directions are for subscribers who want to limit their notification to a particular page on a wiki rather than the wiki owner who only wants to provide subscribers with an rss feed for a specific page. I hope this makes sense. Can you advise on how to setup the rss feeds so subscribers only get page one of the wiki? Thank you!

Inappropriate?Hi Rose, I'm the creator of the RSSfeed wiki. I think Paul was on the right track with his questions.
It sounds like you just want an RSS icon on your FrontPage but you want that icon to have the single feed for the FrontPage only.
Here's the problem you are having:
1. You pasted only a link.
2. You want an icon.
First you need to insert an image of the RSS feed icon. You can use any of these here if you wish.

Download (by right click) the image you want and then use the "Insert Image" button in your wiki to upload the image and display it on your page.
Here are some really fancy RSS icons.

Finally, you need to make the RSS feed icon into a clickable link, using the feed url you made earlier.
You can find out how to do that here:

Inappropriate? Thanks so much for the above instructions! I was able to get the RSS icon on my page where I wanted it. I did run into another glitch, again due to my newbie status. I am hoping you can advise. I copied the URL that showed up when I right clicked on the RSS feed at the bottom of my page into Link in the Image Properties box for the new RSS icon I put on the front page of my wiki per your instructions. (I selected Target - Same Window-self) I may not have selected the right Target. Then I clicked OK to close the Image Properties box. Then I clicked SAVE to save the page I was editing. Next I tried clicking on the RSS icon. Nothing happened. So I clicked on Edit again and then right clicked on the RSS icon. When I went into Link under Image Properties for the RSS icon the address I copied there had disappeared. I did not see any other way to save it. I'm hoping you can advise. Thanks so much.
