More standard CSS designs!
It's nice that more and more people around the Web are using PBwiki... but after a while, they all begin to look the same. 'Snakeskin' is nice, but, come on!
isn't it time to roll out some new skins for Premium users who don't want to take the time and risk to hack their own CSS?
Maybe there could be a mechanism for the community to create them and have them appear under the 'Skins' preference after PBwiki vets them for quality?

Inappropriate?Hi Stephen,
Great question. Changing your color scheme in PBwiki 1.0 is more technical than any non-techie user of PBwiki would like.
It sounds like you would appreciate a system that allows you to upload your logo and choose from a variety of color schemes to best suit your taste.
Does this sound right?
thanks!

That would probably solve half of the problem. Having more than seven customized CSS files (like the bamboo one, etc.) would be the other half. Letting the community create and post (or sell!) those customized CSS files would be the third half! :-) -
Inappropriate?Unfortunately, having a lot of skins tends to make it much slower to build new features for PBwiki, because we have to make sure each page looks right on every skin.
Skin/theme support is not yet available in PBwiki 2.0, but I think we're leaning towards providing the basic 2.0 skin with a number of color choices, and ultimately the ability to define your own color scheme. We'd love to hear feedback from the community about how this feature should evolve.
I’m working on PBwiki 2.0

Inappropriate?A color palette would be a good start. But I strongly believe you need to support display of a logo. You can keep it in tight restrictions... say, 200x75 pixel GIF or PNG. (I'd like bigger, but you have to pick something.) Only three possible positions: top-left, center, and top-right. Something like that. But it's hard to "brand" a site without a logo!

Inappropriate?Yes, uploading logos is something that's high on our list of features for customizing PBwiki.
