My edits are not showing when I save. I've done the same thing four times now and changes to my front page do NOT stick. However I can edit other pages. Is this a bug? (ctap4)

I'm sorry you are having problems editing a page. Can you tell us exactly what web browser (and version) and what operating system your PC is running?

Also, are you on a home network, business network, or school network?

Have you tried using PBwiki on another computer? That would be best done on a network other than the one you are on now.

Hi Clif (take two! as my other reply went away)

I kept trying and trying and I am now getting most of my edits - but they sometimes do not show, even on the source code did not show changes I could see on the page before clicking "save". All the other pages - except QuickStart which is also not holding all my changes - are working.

I'm working in Firefox 2.0.0.12 and Mac OS 10.5.2
Satellite from home connection
I have a beta 2.0 account and know to close and relaunch the browser (this caused other bugs)
Sometimes words overlap too.

I wish I could send you a screen shot - because I thought I was going crazy - I decided to take a before and after picture. If I could upload it to this discussion board but I have this link to a page so you can see what I'm trying to describe.

I just sent some feedback from inside PBwiki 2.0 -- I called it "Problem with Editor in 2.0 -- the mystery of the missing text"

Here's what I sent to the PBwiki team: "I entered some text in the "Edit" window, then saved, but some of the text was missing in the "View". I went back into "Edit" -- the missing text was still missing. I found an awkward workaround -- I copied the entire section, before and after the missing text, pasted that into Word or Notepad, then copied from Word or Notepad, went back to the "Edit" window and pasted -- the visible and invisible text are all there, where expected. I saved, and the "View" page looks like I expected it to."

All of this was inside Firefox (2.0.0.12).

I'm very pleased with 2.0, and I guess this is just one of those things they'll be working on before the formal release.

I’m glad I'm not the only one with Editor bugs!
