News and Updates Plugin
We are constantly adding news listings for our company... we have to do this by editing the home page and then just placing the latest news on top. I know there are many websites that have a news tool that lest you add news posts that automatically show at the top and then show the last 10 or so... the rest are archived for people to go and look at if they want... you need this funcationlity.

Inappropriate?This is a great idea for making your wiki a source of information for people in your company.
In the future, we want to make it easier to develop such plug-ins, so that either we or other companies or people (perhaps even you) can create something along the lines of what you suggest.
One way for people to stay up to date is to subscribe to change notifications, etiher for the wiki as a whole, or just for a specific "news" page.
