No email notifications for private wikis?
The more people who ask this question, the more it gets noticed.

Inappropriate? As of this morning, I was still getting notifications from my private wiki. Can you confirm whether this is happening to just you, or are a couple people reporting this problem?

Inappropriate? No one in my group of about 20 people is receiving email notifications. They just stopped coming one day about a month ago. It's very frustrating, because our schedules change frequently, and we were relying heavily on the email notifications. I have checked the Access Control settings and the Publicize/Monitor settings, and I don't see anything obviously out of order.

Inappropriate? Is this happening on a 2.0 wiki or a 1.0 wiki? I know we have something that's broken for people with a 1.0 wiki and no PBwiki Account, but there is a fix that is going to be deployed today for that.
See this thread (http://getsatisfaction.com/pbwiki/top...) for updates on that.
If you're using a 2.0 wiki, and not getting notifications, and have double checked that they haven't been turned of somewhere, go ahead and email support@pbwiki, and we'll take a look at things.
Generally, it's not a single fix to get notifications to work for anyone, and since they're controlled in several places, we've got to check all of them.
For future reference, here's where the notifications are controlled, and how to change them.
In My.PBwiki.com
Log into your account at my.pbwiki.com. There you will see a list of the wikis you have access to. There will be a check-box under the column "Enable Notifications" that will determine whether you receive notifications for changes in this wiki.
Scroll down a bit, and under Preferences, there will be a drop-down box that will allow you to set how often you want to be notified of changes in general, for wikis you have enabled notifications for. Click the Submit button to save any changes.
At YOURWIKI.pbwiki.com
Go to your wiki and click on Settings in the upper right hand corner. Scroll to Notifications, under Monitor. The first box, if checked, will send notifications to the users when they themselves make an edit. The second box will disable notifications when new people log into the wiki, but isn't used much in 2.0.
If you or other users of your wiki have enabled notifications in their PBwiki Account, they will show up on this page, and there will be an option available to the administrator to stop them from receiving notifications.
In Notification Emails
At the bottom of each notification email, there are two links. One is to change your notification preferences, which redirects to my.pbwiki.com. The second is to turn off emails completely, which changes the drop-down box under Preferences in my.pbwiki.com to "Never." You are then redirected to my.pbwiki.com to re-calibrate your notification preferences.
I’m wishing notifications were better. No joke.
