PBwiki default font missing on font pull down menu?
I like the default font on my wiki http://popresources.pbwiki.com/ but I can't copy and past things into the edit windows and switch them to the default font because it does not seem to be a font on the pull down font menu. What's up with that ... I'm losing my mind on this one. I can tell from putting the text in word that the default is set to Lucidia Grande...what's up with that?

Inappropriate?Lemme guess, you're using a Mac, right?

Inappropriate? The default font you're seeing is supplied by your browser, not PBwiki. PBwiki's WYSIWYG editor does not support full word-processing functions; browsers have a limited ability to display custom fonts. These threads also discuss this topic, with input from an official representative of PBwiki.
I’m always confused by exactly how 'font X' gets selected

Inappropriate? You're absolutely right not to be able to select default PBwiki 2.0 font, only alternative styles available, there's no easy clear text formatting button, submitted as bug #36.
At MacOSX platform copying and pasting in edit window resolves in a lot of *bs* styling, see source to see what's goin' on .. Workaround: go to Source, select all, copy, paste into plain text editor (f.e. TextEdit / plain text mode), search <p><span style=" bs ">, replace with <p> & search </span></p>, replace with </p>, copy all, paste back into Source, save .. do not know how this works on Win platform ..
Bytheway, fonts are specified by CSS:
- if specified font available on users computer -> display
- if not available -> display dependent of css definition (serif, sans-serif, mono, fixed, etc.) and browsers preference
- browsers preference is user determined and limited to fonts available on users computer

Inappropriate?Pasting is something we are working on right now, we're actually in the final stage of testing it and fixing the bugs. It should be a big improvement on pasting content from programs like MS Word to a wiki page.
Clearing text formatting is on the to-do list. I'm right there with you in hoping it will be done soon.
