PBWiki footer content turns over tables
Hi - I made a number of edits to a page in my wiki yesterday, including copying/pasting a table from a webpage into the wiki. I added additional content on the page following the table. After each Save the formatting all appeared fine.
Today the page is corrupted - the 'Wiki Information' and 'Recent PBWiki Blog Posts' sections that normally appear in each wiki page footer are appearing in the body of the table I copied in, and all of the text in the table and everything that followed it on the page has disappeared. I've managed to get to the history for the page, but all of the earlier revisions are corrupted in the same way. Is there any way I can correct this and retrieve my work? All help appreciated!

Inappropriate?OK - a partial reply to my own post. The problem with the wiki footer invading my page is happening in IE7. But I've just accessed the page in Firefox and it's fine.
Trouble is, the colleagues I'm collaborating with on this wiki have been telling me they're having trouble with PBWiki not saving their content properly, and I now suspect it's because they're using IE. Is there a fix for the folks who still want to use IE? -
Inappropriate?Hi Adam,
Can you click the "Help" link in the upper right-hand corner of your wiki so we can take a look?
Thanks for your patience.

Inappropriate?Hi Casey
Thanks very much for your reply. I've clicked on the Help link when I'm on the problem page but that takes me into the 'Start a topic' screen in Get Satisfaction again - do I need to submit again for you to be able to view how the page is displaying?
Regards
Adam -
Go to the second part where it has a link to "contact support" - that will get to us here, and then we don't have to have your wiki information all over the internet :) -
Inappropriate? Thanks Casey - I followed that second part through and did the 'submit feedback' thing - hope that's what you need to see the page.

Inappropriate?Turns out there was a bit of pasted JavaScript that was putting content from the footer into the table. It's all better now! :D
I’m happy we have a "Source" button!

Inappropriate? Thanks to PBWiki and Casey for sorting this out so quickly! Much appreciated.
-
Inappropriate?I'm having the same problem too. Any suggestions are very welcome.

Check your source code for any extraneous javascript - Adam's was part of a mailto form.
If you can't find anything, contact Support (see above) and we'll figure things out :)
-
Inappropriate?Casey-Thanks for your prompt reply.
I dont see any extraneous javascript in the source.
It is possible that I may have accidentally deleted some html that buffers between body and footer.
Thoughts? -
Hmm. Can you send me an email at Support@pbwiki? I'll ask you for access to your wiki, so I can check out your source code directly. Thanks for your patience!
